A little oriole bird left its mother for the first time and went out to catch insects by himself.
When the little oriole flew for a day and returned home tiredly, his mother asked him what he saw and heard.
The little oriole said, “I saw nothing except the bugs.”
My mother was disappointed and said: “We don’t live just for bugs.”
A little oriole flew back tiredly the next day.
His mother asked him what he saw and heard.
The little oriole said: “I saw a pitiful old white-headed man. She was too old to catch insects. I gave her the insects I caught.”
“I also saw a little lark. Her singing is so good. I listened to it for a long time. I think I might sing better than her in the future.”
Mother was very happy, she said: “You begin to know how to live!”
