Savory corn

Little white mice like to eat corn. Little squirrels also like to eat corn.

The white mouse said to the little squirrel, “Let’s grow corn together!”

“Great, I’m thinking about planting corn with you too!” said the little squirrel.

The little white mouse and the little squirrel found a piece of corn-planting field, ready to loosen the soil.

At this time, the mouse fell and sprained his foot.

The little squirrel hurriedly carried the little white mouse home, and said to him: “You take care of your injuries, and the corn planting is on my body.”

Two days later, the little squirrel loosened the soil and planted corn seeds.

The corn seeds sprouted under the sun and rain. Under the sun and rain, the corn has grown into seedlings.

The little squirrel dragged a cart of fertilizer to the corn field and fertilized the corn.

The corn grew taller and taller, but there were a lot of bugs crawling on the leaves. The little squirrel hurried to the cornfield and worked for two days to get rid of all the bugs.

Under the careful care of the little squirrels, the corn has been harvested. One by one golden yellow corn, it makes people like it.

The little squirrel came to the cornfield and spent a whole day breaking all the corn and filling it with four big baskets.

The big bear saw it and said to the little squirrel, “You can’t eat so much corn alone. Can I exchange some watermelons for two baskets with you?”

The little squirrel looked at the big watermelon, swallowed, shook his head and said, “No, I won’t change it.”

The long-tailed monkey passed by with a basket of peaches and asked the little squirrel: “You can’t eat so much corn alone. May I exchange some peaches for two baskets with you?”

The little squirrel looked at the pink peach, licked his lips, shook his head and said, “No, I won’t change.”

The little squirrel used a cart to push two large baskets of corn to the little white mouse’s house: “Little white mouse, the corn has been harvested. These are your two baskets.”

The mouse was surprised: “I didn’t grow corn!”

“You forgot, we made an appointment to plant it together.” said the little squirrel.

“But I sprained my foot. You planted the corn yourself.” said the mouse.

“Since I have agreed to grow corn with you, there should be half of the corn harvest. And I can’t eat so much by myself, so I can’t let the corn spoil!”

With that said, the little squirrel moved two baskets of corn into the little white mouse’s house.

Winter is here. Outside the house, snowflakes fluttered.

The little squirrel should be eating corn! The white mouse is in the warm house, eating fragrant corn, thinking of the little squirrel, and his heart is warm.

The mouse is eating corn too! The little squirrel is in the warm house, eating the fragrant corn, thinking of the little white mouse, and his heart is also warm.
